About Linda

Linda Brodzik has over 30 years of training experience and continued education. She has studied with many top dog and animal trainers, animal behaviorists and veterinarians  in the US, Canada, The United Kingdom and from around the world. She has attended many classes through the Life Learn Program at the Ontario Veterinary Collage, University at Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Today she still continues to attend classes, clinics and workshops to ensure she stays attentive to the most current knowledge in the science of behavior and teaching.

As former co-founder and senior trainer of Unleashed® Behavior and Training Services, Linda had created a sizable base of very satisfied clients and appreciative veterinary professional fans. Since her dissociation with Unleashed, she has continued to gain an even greater reputation for her skills, training-related articles and approach to canine behavior modification.

Linda’s main interest as a trainer concerns temperament, relationship and behavior issues in dogs. Her analytical mind and ability to focus on great detail are strong assets when evaluating canine temperament and behavior issues and in setting forth a comprehensive and well-structured dog training program. Linda’s goal is to help each client achieve the highest level of joy, trust and communication that they seek in their relationship with their canine companions.

In addition to having her writing and articles published in numerous trade magazines, Linda has appeared on radio and television programs dealing with dog behavior and training issues. She lectures to both owners and other pet professionals including veterinarians, veterinary technicians, rescue groups and breeders.

When Linda is not working to assist her clients and their animal companions, she takes pleasure in spending time outdoors, hiking in the wilderness and bike riding. She also enjoys being creative through writing and artistic ventures. Her greatest joy comes from training and spending time with her own animals: her dog, Elsa, a happy and eager-to-learn bullmastiff ; and her young Shire horse, Sean Michael, currently being schooled in Classical Dressage.

Linda has recently become the Director of Pet Ministry at Hope Presbyterian Church in Spicer, Mn. She is excited to share the many aspects of the healing touch of animals with the community.
